One of our Australian based clients are eagerly seeking Welder (First Class) to start work immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and repair metal products using various welding techniques
• Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
• Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock.
• Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines.
• Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering.
• Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting.
• Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision.
• Finishing and cleaning products.

Requirement:

• Minimum 10 years experience on the same role
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Finish high school, and one year or more at college is highly desirable or graduate of any related vocational course, IELTS/PTE passer is an advantage.
