One of our Australian based clients are eagerly seeking Heavy Diesel Mechanic to start work immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Run electronic, hydraulic and mechanical diagnostic tests and analyzing results
• Repair and replace worn/defective parts
• Reassemble engine, steering, transmission, hydraulic, electrical and breaking system components
• Perform PMS or Preventative maintenance
• Carry out scheduled services
• Test drive vehicles to gauge performance
• Record details of work carried out and all parts, oils etc. utilized on each job
• Adhere to inspection procedure checklists
• Demonstrate basic welding skills and experience with the use of oxy-acetylene cutting
• Extensive knowledge of diesel engine repair techniques, tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
• Ensure the cleanliness workspace
• Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety
• Take reasonable care to ensure their own safety and health whilst at work and that of others
• Report all hazards, accidents, incidents and near misses according to the accident/incident reporting process
• Develop and follow all safe work procedures as directed by the supervisor or as otherwise directed
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• Have above mentioned experience in regard to road transport equipment (trucks, semi-trailers, etc.) agricultural equipment (tractors, attachments/implements, generators etc.) earthmoving equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers etc.) and light vehicles.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a HD Diesel Mechanic.
• Experience with CASE IH Tractors & Mack Trucks preferable
• Knowledge of different kind of machines combined with trucks, tractors and mobile plant machines.
• Has documents to support your visa application.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal.
• High School Graduate who completed one year college education or vocational graduate (1 year) or graduate of any 4 year course is highly desirable, IELTS/PTE passer is an advantage.
