One of our Australian based clients are eagerly seeking Manual Machinist to start work immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Work within tolerances of ±0.01 mm using metric and imperial units.
• Expertly use measuring equipment, such as surface finishing indicators, micrometers, verniers etc.
• Correctly interpret and apply engineering drawings, measuring equipment and company documentation.
• Effectively use various manual lathes, vertical/horizontal borers, mills and hand tools.
• Desirable to have experience operating a cylindrical grinder- if not, training will be provided.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Manual Machinist.
• Driver’s License
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with manual lathes, grinders, vertical/horizontal borers and mills.
• Competent English language skills
• Overseas experience is an advantage.
• Finish high school, and one year or more at college is highly desirable or graduate of any related vocational course, IELTS/PTE passer is an advantage
