We are currently partnering with an Australian-based client who is urgently seeking an experienced Concrete Labourer for an immediate start.

About the Role

You will be responsible for pouring, spreading, smoothing, and finishing concrete, as well as installing reinforcement materials to strengthen structures such as floors, stairs, ramps, footpaths, and bridges. The position requires the ability to read and interpret construction plans and may involve supervising Concrete Labourers on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Determine the required type and quantity of concrete
• Supervise and guide Concrete Labourers as needed
• Prepare job sites, including clearing and levelling work areas
• Install reinforcement materials such as rebar
• Mix and pour concrete into designated areas
• Spread, level, and smooth concrete using tools such as trowels and screeds
• Finish concrete surfaces to achieve the required texture and appearance
• Cure and protect concrete to ensure proper hardening and durability
• Construct formwork to support wet concrete when required

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
