Responsibilities;

  • Follow all instructions regarding compliance with all OH&S Regulations, Legislation & Company 
  • Policies
  • Report any Hazards or Unsafe conditions to Supervisors.
  • Diagnosing & General mechanical repairs and servicing a wide range of vehicles.
  • Carry out wheel alignment pre-check, including steering and suspension condition and report any defects
  • Carry out wheel alignment and make necessary adjustments to obtain desired specifications
  • Carry out in vehicle axle bends / axle correction as required
  • Prepare appropriate paperwork and report work carried out to Workshop Foreman for customer liaison
  • Ordering spare parts and making sure the correct parts are fitted in the correct manner
  • Pick up and assist spare parts if required
  • Making sure that client’s vehicles are clean and respectable prior to hand over
  • Completing a legible, detailed report for each job, on the back of job card
  • Keeping the work area clean and tidy
  • Clean tools and areas after completion of job
  • Ensure all tools are put away after finished with them
  • Clocking on and off at the start and finish of each working day
  • Test drive and the delivery, pick up of vehicles and clients if required
  • Ensure quality of workmanship is up to GPR’s standards
  • Ensure the workshop is a clean and safe working environment
  • Your responsibilities will include other tasks which your supervisor may instruct you to undertake from time to time

  • The procedures immediately relevant to this position are: 
  1.           Wheel Alignment Procedure 
  2.           Brake Tester Procedure 
  3.           Correct use of Wheel Alignment Ramp Procedure

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified HV Diesel Mechanic with minimum 10 years’ experience
  • Current WA Driver’s license 
  • Computer skills 
  • Excellent English Communication, Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • Wheel Aligning knowledge and experience with 5 years’ experience on heavy vehicles, trucks, trailers and buses
  • Josam Cam Aligner knowledge 
  • Axle correcting / bending experience
  • 8 Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Saudi Arabia
  • Finish high school, and one year or more at college is highly desirable or graduate of any related vocational course, IELTS/PTE passer is an advantage
